The conflict in the story is Man V.S Man. The conflict is that because he can't find the President Cleveland to complete his President card collection. When he is trying to get the last card he needs he gets himself stress out.

I think that he gave the $5 he got from Rollie to his brother. I think he gave the money to his brother because he wanted to take the girl he liked to the danced. The brother didn't have nice shies they were ripped and he has to get the girl a flower to wear."
